teaching class

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to teach class at the center.  After I taught class I could feel my brain waves connect to the bigger energy, and I became more calm than I have in a while.  I realized that what I was doing right now, in teach class, was taking action…and I was so grateful for the members for giving me the opportunity to teach class for them.  It allowed me to connect to the cosmic energy in a bigger way.   Teaching is really learning for me.  I can see how when Ilchi Lee says to just take action–and all of the learning will come with it.

Wondering about Leadership

Much of my life I saw my teachers and later business managers as good people, but not necessarily as leaders, and specifically, not people I wanted to be. Many people in my life have bery good and admirable qualities — but I didn’t really know of anyone I really looked up as a leader. So many “leaders” such in politics — seem to be managers — I have always thought a great leader is someone who leads by example — becoming their beliefs so that one observing them knows what they stand for without asking.  So many leaders we see are really just in positions where they are concerned about managing their own reputations and not much else! Ilchi Lee, through his vision and dedication to sharing his enlightenment with others is a true leader. This is someone I can look up to and want to be like — I want to keep working hard to improve myself and share what I learn with others to help them grow too.

What is vision?

This is what Ilchi Lee says about vision in the book, “The 12 Englightenments for Healing Society.”  I think is it is a rather inspiring definition.

“A vision is not a pie in the sky.  A vision is: one, good enough to make your face shine with joyful light when you think about it; two, fulfilling enough to provide you with an untiring motivation; three, attractive enough to deserve all your concentraion and energy; four, useful enough to gain the appreciation of those around you; and five, concrete and clear enough so that everyone can determine whether you succeded.”

Dancing YEHA

Dancing YEHA was so much fun. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I even spoke during our eating/conversation talking time! There was a kid/guy just standing in the corner looking uncomfortable, and I was like wow! That would have been me a few years ago.
Dahn Yoga and YEHA meetings are helping me to overcome my anxiety.
Just this afternoon, I was crying and depressed, and I forced myself to go to the Dahn Center ?it made a big difference in my mood: I am proud of the progress I made.

creation

I think it is a great concept that Ilchi Lee has about being the creator of our own lives.  That means we make all the choices and actions in our lives instead of just following situation.

Speechless

Many times I am at a loss for words when it comes to the over 30 years of effort Ilchi Lee put into developing the programs of BEST 5 Brain Education and Dahn Yoga.  I can say I am not sure if I could have done the same thing.  The drive required to do something like that for so long has to be tremendous.

Wherefore art thou…?

“Romeo, romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?”

Why is it that we are who we are? This is a simple but dreadfully deep question. We tend to ask these questions of those we trust: our parents, teachers, guides, leaders, etc.

Children

Ilchi Lee teaches children through Brain Education to become leaders at an early age.  They learn to make conscious choices.  They learn to ask inside and trust their inner voice.  They learn to love and respect each other.  They learn how to share.  They learn how to express their feelings.  They learn to be honest, sincere and responsible.  They pretty much get everything that a child needs in today’s society.  I will be able to retire in peace.  :)
